Meet Our Stone Age Family
TED AND PRISCILLA VERCELES:
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. Fell in love with the beautiful Sierra Foothills and the picturesque countryside of the Mariposa/Yosemite area over 20 years ago while picking up Yosemite Slate for a building project they were involved in. They never left. Ted and Priscilla started Mariposa Flagstone Company and Yosemite Slate Quarry at that time while also raising 3 children.

PIKE KIMO VERCELES
The youngest of the Stone Age Family is the on site General Manager and is in charge of the daily operations. Pike and his wife Lori (Johnson) work hand in hand. Pike's plans include marketing Yosemite Slate more aggresively worldwide and promoting alternative uses for slate. |
